What are ombre brows?
Ombre brows tattooing is applied by using a machine method. This technique leaves a soft powdery finish. The density of the pigment starts from light at the beginning of the brow and gradually gets darker. This method is great for individuals with oily skin. Lasting 2-3 years.
What is cosmetic tattooing?
Cosmetic tattooing is the process of implanting colored pigment into the skin. Up to the dermis layer of the skin. Using sterile, disposable needles to produce makeup, and hair strokes enhance the face's natural features.
Does it hurt?
Pain threshold levels vary from person to person. A topical anesthetic cream to ensure you remain comfortable & as pain-free as possible. However small amounts of discomfort are to be expected.
How long does ombre brows last?
Ombre brows can last anywhere from two to three years. The retention will depend on a number of factors, such as lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, health condition, etc.
What to know before my procedure?
Avoid blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, NSAIDS, vitamin E, fish oil, or vitamins unless medically necessary 48-72 hours before. I must get dr. note if on prescribed blood thinners. Void facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion 2 weeks prior. Cosmetic Botox and fillers should be done 2 weeks after your appointment. If you are pregnant or planning on pregnancy you will not be able to receive a tattoo service.
What do i need to do after my procedure?
· don’t touch, scratch, or rub them · don’t wear makeup · don’t pick scabs · don’t sleep on your face · avoid physical activities that cause excessive sweating · avoid situations where your brows will be exposed to dust and dirt avoid saunas and swimming pools as well as long showers · avoid sun exposure and tanning · avoid having facial treatment until the brows are completely healed Wash your brows gently with sterile water, dry them gently pat them with a clean cloth or a cotton pad apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment.
